Things to Do
If you visit Durham in the warmer months, there are mounds of outdoor activities to enjoy. Watch a Bulls baseball game during the spring or hit the water for some paddling in the summer. Head to a local swimming basin like Turtle Hole and Sennet Hole to cool down on those scorching North Carolina days. Durham is incredibly romantic in the winter. We decorate the Inn from head to toe and fully embrace the wonderful holiday season. Stay warm with some hot cider as you make lasting memories with your sweetheart.
Whatever the season or weather, you’ll never run out of things to do in the Triangle. Hiking for any skill level is accessible year-round because our winters are fairly mild. The Eno River State Park runs along the river and offers nearly 30 miles of hiking trails. Check out an indoor sporting event, museum, or do some shopping if you happen to get a rainy day on your trip. Or better yet, spend your day relaxing in elegance at Arrowhead Inn!
