American Dance Festival
The largest and most influential modern dance festival in the world is here at Duke University from June 5th – July 19th! Festival for the Eno River-- July 4th – 6th
Stay two nights at the Arrowhead Inn during the festival and we will include two complimentary tickets to this extravaganza. Sip on cold fresh lemonade, plunge your hands into cool wet pottery clay, delight your ears with the melodies and harmonies of many local musicians at this all day event. Wafting on the Eno
Spend two hours of relaxed paddling in inflatable “wafts” (tandem boats for two) on a tranquil section of the nearby Eno River.  “River Dave” Owen, a native naturalist and master storyteller, will guide you, pointing out the natural beauty and biodiversity of the river.  It‘s an excellent setting to explore your sensory connection with the river and its native wildlife. Two tours most days (except Mondays) at 10AM & 3:30PM. Evening moonlight wafting on Fridays only is also available at 9PM (weather-permitting). Nighttime trips take the form of a neoprimitive journey, allowing you to explore your intuitive connection with the night environment through the river's "cosmic tree."  The fee is only $13/person. Enjoy this spread in the privacy of your own room as a welcome savory treat, or a midnight snack.  Our platters includes: distinctive cheeses including selections from our neighbor, Elodie Goat Farm accompanied by seasonal fruit, roasted garlic, marinated olives or toasted almonds, smoked meats, and French bread or crackers.

Make your stay at the Arrowhead Inn a delicious one and enjoy a Romantic Tasting Dinner for Two. The six-course feast will feature choices of several entrees prepared by our gourmet chef /owner and will sample a variety of cuisine to delight your palate. The dinner is served at a private table in our charming Keeping Room, amid candles, flowers, and romantic music.

The cost for the Romantic Tasting Dinner for Two is $120/couple, plus tax and gratuity. (Advance reservation required)

Personal Chef Dinner
To celebrate a special occasion-- indulge in our Personal Chef Dinner. This delectable feast is a lovely way to relax and indulge in the beauty of our surroundings.  We deliver a romantic six-course gourmet meal in the privacy of your room. (Available in Premium Rooms & Suites with advance reservation)  Each menu is personally created with your tastes in mind.

Soup and Salad Lite Dinner
After a long day of traveling, wouldn’t it be nice to have a refreshing salad, and bowl of home made soup waiting for you upon your arrival?
